Trail Skills Tune Up

This program is designed for intermediate riders seeking to enhance their riding skills, boost their confidence on rough terrain, and ultimately increase their enjoyment of riding. Each week, we will focus on learning or refining a specific skill, followed by practical application on the trail. This structured approach not only helps riders progress but also offers the opportunity to form new friendships with potential riding buddies.

The program is four weeks' duration, with an option to extend for another few weeks as we usually find that everyone wants more!

Location:

Manly Dam & surrounds, Sydney, NSW

Clinic Dates:

  • Thursdays 6, 13, 20, 27 Feb (with 6 & 13 Mar as wet weather options), 6.30-8.00am

What we'll be covering in this program:

  • Bike setup - we'll look at your ergonomics, suspension settings, tyre pressures and tyre selection, and ensuring your bike is well set up for your riding style

  • Understanding the importance of body position and weight distribution

  • Understanding when and how to brake effectively

  • Cornering technique - learn to rail your favourite singletrack!

  • Conquering steep roll downs with confidence and control

  • Clearing obstacles - unweighting and wheel lifts

  • Jumps and drops
