Dear All

Hope you've all been taking advantage of the mild winter to get in plenty of time on the trail. We've been keeping busy with an addition to the Chocolate Foot team, a puppy named Digley, who has been responsible for keeping us off our bikes a fair bit, but we kinda don't mind that too much - he's pretty cute, and we're hoping that one day he'll be a good companion on the trails!

Skills Clinics at Manly Dam, Oct - Dec 2018

This workshop is also perfect for anyone who's completed our one-day skills clinic and is ready for the next challenge.

The drills you'll learn and practice will be tailored to ensure everyone gets the most out of the day.

One-on-One / Small Group Tuition

We also offer private or small group tuition, so if you can't make a group clinic or want private coaching, get in touch! These can be scheduled for any day of the week, and can be held at St Ives Showground or Manly Dam. We are also happy to travel to a location of your choice if the landowner permits it.

We've put together some dates for expressions of interest for either private tuition or small groups (which we'll run if we have enough interest). NSW Bike Week 2018 - Free Clinics!

As part of the annual NSW Bike Week, we'll be joining Northern Beaches Council and a bunch of other bike-related people down at Middle Creek Reserve, Narrabeen Lagoon, on September 23. We'll be running two free one-hour "Introduction to MTB" sessions, at 10.30am and 12.00pm, which will be filled on a first come, first served basis - so if you or anyone you know might be keen, come on down! There'll be heaps of other stuff going on such as free e-bike rides, fun kids' activities, and displays from lots of local businesses.

Social Rides

We're involved in a bunch of regular social rides on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The regular rides include beginner and intermediate women’s MTB and road training rides. As mentioned at the top, we regularly ride and lead the Manly Cycles social rides, details posted here: https://www.facebook.com/ManlyCyclesAustralia/

That's it for now, wishing you a great week ahead and we look forward to seeing you out on the trails!

Cheers

Fi & Joe
