Skills Clinics & Social Rides Update - Oct 2016

Dear All

Hope you're all enjoying the beautiful spring weather and managing to avoid those dive-bombing magpies! We've had a busy September as we offered a bunch of social rides and clinics as part of NSW Bike Week, which was a great success and we loved having the opportunity to use new venues for this!

Last Group Clinic for 2016!

Our regular clinics continue to be really popular, and we've just scheduled a date for our final group skills clinic for 2016 - a Rotorua trip in November and then the silly season means free weekends are now few and far between. But we're pleased to offer the clinic below and look forward to running it with a bunch of enthusiastic and fun participants!

Women's MTB Skills Clinic, Saturday 19 November, St Ives Showground

Our women-only MTB skills clinic is suitable for novice (with some off-road experience) and beginner-to-intermediate riders. With two instructors and a small group of participants, we can ensure plenty of attention for each person. The drills you'll learn and practice during the day will be tailored to ensure that they are challenging enough for the more experienced riders but not too daunting to the less experienced. Our main goal is to see everyone having fun on their bikes learning new skills and riding more confidently by the end of the day!

Head to the website for more information and registration links for this clinic.

One-on-One / Small Group Tuition

We also offer private or small group tuition, so if you can't make a group clinic but want a few pointers, get in touch! These can be scheduled for any day of the week, and while we run most sessions at St Ives Showground, we are also happy to travel to a location of your choice. This email address is being protected from spambots. Social Rides

We're involved in a bunch of regular social rides on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The regular rides include beginner and intermediate women’s MTB and road training rides. Check out the website for more info.

Also, October is Specialized Women's Ride Month! Fi's running a couple of rides for this (beginner MTB on 8 Oct and intermediate MTB on 27 Oct) - details here - she'd love to see you there. And check out the Specialized website to find out what else is on offer in your neck of the woods - lots of rides, both mountain and road, are scheduled as part of the Women's Ride Month celebrations.

That's it for now, enjoy the rest of the short week!

Cheers

Fi & Joe
